My new system keeps cutting out, I need some opinions?
I just bought 2 Kicker CompVr's 400 Watts RMS Each, and an Ultra Linear 1000 Watt RMS amp, said to be 2 ohm stable. I have it wired at 2 ohms independence. And Im giving each subwoofer about 400 RMS. I think i have a good ground it never failed me for systems in the past. But I cant figure out why it cuts out when i turn the volume up. Maybe the amps not as good as it is put out. Or could it be the 35 degrees weather. By the way my lights dont dim so i dont think it is the battery. One thing i noticed was when the bass hit, the light on the amplifier would dim. What could it be?

It sounds like you are having trouble getting current to the amplifier. The first thing that caught my eye was the 8 gauge ground. I would replace it with at least 4 gauge. and try to find a closer location to ground it. Make the ground wire as short as possible and make sure that there is no paint on the grounding location.
Next, I would upgrade the "big 3". Here's a quick tutorial for the upgrade. http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp~TID~73496~PN~1
