NOS System on a Dirt Bike?
I have a Yamaha TTR 225, and I was wondering if it would be possible to install a NOS system. I want to increase the speed and power as much as possible
Off-road max speed: 65 mph
Street max speed: 95 mph
NOS would be completely useless on a dirt-bike. NOS only activates when the throttle is FULLY open, and results in an instant hit of power, like hitting an "ON" switch. This makes it useful only on high-traction surfaces with sticky tires, and only in a straight line. This is why it is used in drag-racing, and pretty much nowhere else. Any other application will only result in wheel-spin and/or loss of control.
