1987 D100 with a 1967 318 Frankentruck trying to achieve 300 hp?
I have a 1987 D100 with a 1967 318. I'm trying to achieve around 300 hp. The mods to the engine are: 600 cfm Edlebrock Performer with matching intake and camshaft w/ lifters. Flowmax Headers with Hooker Dual Exhuast and Hooker comp mufflers. Also running Accel super coil w/ cap and rotor Accel u-groove plugs and plug wires.
Where do you think I'm at? What should I do next?
your above 300 already because i own one of those things with less than what you have, stock they ran about 230 horse power and with a good cam add another 25-30 and with headers another 25,so your probably over 300 right now,mine dyno-ed out at 325 more than a year ago,have it dyno-ed and see what it runs at ,it will surprise you,good luck.
