I have a 1991 eagle talon tsi awd and between 4500 and 5000 RPM The engine chokes and i have to let off, i dont know whats wrong but i have put in a new ignition module plugs wires and spark plugs still no fix so then i hooked up the stock boost controller still nothing, the funny thing is i can go past that if there is no boost or not that much going to it. If anyone Highly thinks it is the fuel management then PLEASE suggest a Fuel management anything please, i know about DSM link Is it hard to use? are pocket loggers management or just digital gauges? i am pretty new i had a camaro that i did a full rebuild on the engine just no tuner experience also i have a front mount that i will install soon and if its a boost leak that should solve it but everyone i talk to says that its probably not it. Oh and the turbo is stock with a 3" cat back exhaust.

Sounds like a fuel filter if it is a older car, they don't get changed very offten (if at all) have had the same problem on many cars i have worked on. the fast er you go the more fuel it needs and if there is a blockage it will go to lean causing a drop off in power and almost sounds like the car is about to die. Fuel filters are cheap and a very good place to start at.
