92 honda civic?
Hi i got a honda civic and i replaced the water pump and its still over heating.
I filled it with antifreeze and got it hot.
I used the bleeder near the thermostat to release the air bubbles .
i replaced the thermostat
i tested the heat sensors inthe head and the radiator
No coolent inthe oil and no smoke out the tail pipe
I ran a jumper wire to the fan to keep it on all the time but still wont help.
SO anyone else have suggestions?
BTW i bought a New head and gasket just incase and can be returned if its not that )
I have to ask you how did you bleed it? Then I'd have to ask you, if you answer correctly which I bet you dont, is did you block test the engine. We charge 20 bucks for a block test and that eliminates the guesswork on a blown head gasket. If the fluid turns yellowish, there is a problem, if it stays blue, head gasket is fine.
