i just put on a top end kit (heads, cam, lifters, pushrods, roller rocker arms, intake and carb) from Trick Flow Specialties except for the intake and carb. Problem i have is that the rocker arms wont stay tight. Would it be a good idea to use thread lock on the rocker arms?
It is recommended to use lock tight or other thread lock treatment for Rollers. It should have said that in the instructions for the kit that you received. You will want to look for the high temp lock tight. Make sure to use it after the valve lash has been adjusted. Other wise you will go through a ton of the stuff making adjustments after adjustment, also keep in mind that for fresh kits there is a break in period. If you haven't put the 5000 miles on it yet you still need to make another adjustment before you call it good.
