I have a 350 4-bolt block .030 (355) with a 4340 3.48" crank, 4340 5.7" steel h-beams, je forced induction forged pistons(dished).Compression ratio should be around 8.5:1 with Edelbrock Performer rpm 70cc heads. A Vortech V1 T-trim supercharger will be installed with 10-12 lbs. boost. Exhaust is 1 5/8" Hooker headers with 3" collector 2 1/4" dual exhaust piping.
My question is will I be able to run this on 91 octane? I also have Snow Performance water/methanol injection for cooling the charge. I also have a intercooler(water/air) if needed. What kind of torque and hp can I expect from this setup? Its going in a 70 Corvette (3000 lbs) 3.08 rear end, turbo 400. Any help from performance engine builders appreciated. Thanks.

Yes at 8.5 that should be ok, but it does depend on other factors such as your peak cylinder wall temperature (higher causing early detonation), engine design and also air temperature which can vary daily. Your water injection can help with the cooling and prevent knocking.
It becomes less reliable over about 9.5 compression so you should be ok.
Personally I would suggest getting the most out of all of your mods to the car and push it a bit further and run on 95-97 and up the boost.
