Turbo or Supercharged for a 2001 V6 Mustang?
I'm having a bit of a dillema figuring out which route should I go for my whitepony. Forced-Induction or Non-Naturally Aspirated?
So far she's got some mods done:
K&N CAI
BBK Shorties
2.5" Hi-Flow Catback Dual Exhaust
What I want to do is get a pair of long tube headers, and an LSD (FRPP) with a 4:10 gear ratio. This will happen before this year ends.
Alright before I decide which route to go, I'd like to have a 4.2L Stroker kit with forged internals, P&P Upper/Lower Intake & Heads with a new cam (the cam is something I'll have to figure out which spec will fit). By then, I should already have my JMod and a stall torque converter installed.
I don't like to confused people, but for anybody out there what's a good route to take once I get all those parts installed? I'm not trying to be faster than all the GTs and Camaros out there. I just want my little V6 to be on top of it's class.
Thanks.
I would go with a V8.
No but seriously a supercharger would be a much easier install and you won't see a huge difference between a SC or turbo. So my suggestion is a Vortec.
