Can you use JB Weld where excess heating and cooling will happen?
I am trying to make a homemade pipe adapter and I was curious if JB Weld would be useful for connecting an aluminum valve end to a refridgerator copper tube that I got from Home Depot.
On JB's website they list that it resists up to 500*F, but will it withstand a butane lighter (indirectly absorbing heat from the flame)?
