Standard 4.3 versus Vortec 4.3???
Other than the cold air box on the Vortec model and the cylinder heads... what is the difference between the Chevrolet standard 4.3 and the Vortec 4.3??? What is the biggest difference in the cylinder heads as well?
The differences are quite a few. The vortec has a completely different injection system as well as a highly complicated computer control system. This also relates to the differences in the intake and heads as the air is propelled and swirled into the comp. chamber promoting a better mix of fuel/air.
