Is there a difference between alcohol and water injection?
To my understanding, there is a mixture of methanol/alcohol injected into the air way of the engine. The mixture is burned with the gasoline to help cool the engine, so you can run more boost.
Now, the alcohol isn't the boost itself, correct? when people refer to "boost" they mean NO2?
And are alcohol and water injection different, or do the come together?
Same basic idea, different media. Both will cool the combustion chamber, which will allow you to make more hp another way, but neither actually make any more hp. And, in the winter, you'll have to mix some kind of anti-freeze with the water, so you'll have alcohol, anyway.
