Hi im installing a system in my car, but i ran into a problem. The connector they provide in my wiring kit is a ring connector. My cars battery has the terminal on the side, not the top. When i put the ring connector on, i cant screw on the positive terminal to the battery. What would be a good solution to this problem?
There's a battery connector sold for the side post batteries, but you can just strip your of you power wire, separate the exposed wire in half then put one half of one side of the battery cable and the other half on the other side then screw it onto the battery. I did this with one of my friend's cars because he didn't feel it necessary to spend on the other option.
